Normally complete training in all modules of Kalaripayat with body, stick, weapon training requires at least 7 years to learn in the normal pace. But since in this nuclear age, due to lack of time, and being unable to spend a long duration in training, for your convenience we are now offering short-term (crash) courses in an easy-to-learn module or system with a perfect syllabus and scientific explanation, which gives you maximum advantage for self-defence and offence,if the situation requires so. You shall find Our training to be most challenging, toughest, scientific and most systematic, to keep pace with the latest strategies for the Mordern Martial-art, compared to any kalaripayat institutions in Kerala, which is developed by Grand Master: Mathew Gurukkal through his personal expertise and rigorous research. Crash courses are basically designed for those Martial arts lovers, who have at least some exposure in kalaripayat or other Martial arts (kungfu, Jujitsu, Judo, Taichi, Aikido, muay-thai, Karatae, etc), having extra ordinary grasping capacity to absorb the techniques being taught. Katcha or Towel technique as a deadly and handy weapon

The rates for this can vary any time, and if you are lucky enough, you shall get an admission for this training. Conditions of weapon sale: Weapons will only be isssued(sold) to those candidates, who successfully completes the Body, Stick, Weapon, Marma-shastra, Marma-chikitsa and attains a certificate, under Mathew Gurukkal. Also people doing other martial-arts training like Wu-shu, Kung-fu, Judo, Karate, Muai-thai, Taekwon-do, kick-boxing, kravmaga, MMA(Mixed martial arts), Ninja, Ninjitsu, etc can also order for weapons. Instructors of any martial-arts disciple must bring the originals and a photocopy of certificates proving that they are genuine instructors. If placing order by online, send scanned copy of Election-ID card, Passport copy, Newspaper article proofs, Fullsize and passport size photo copy must be submitted along with this. This is to avoid any legal problems from the police during the process of carrying it to your center, or it is to avoid mis-use of it for social injustice. Prices for each weapon varies according to the cost of manufacture of weapons and depending on how many numbers of the same you require. Weapon will be made blunt(not sharp) for safety purpose and it will not be send by cargo or courier. It will only be given by the Gurukkal, by hand, at our center, within 10days time from the date of order. All payments have to be paid in Full,in Advance along with the form submission. Instructors can visit our center directly and make payments. Weapons once sold will not be take back(returned) at any cost.

Certificate Issue of Kalaripayat

Preliminary Assistant Instructor Certificate INR: 5000 Course Code: CERT-PRIL-21
Those who attend the first 2years including 1year body training & 1 year Stick training (or do an equivalant Fast-Track course with physical and stick training [short-stick & long-staff] for Rs.20,000) will be given the Preliminary Assistant Instructor Certificate. This certificate can be attained after successful completion of the training and passing the physical test. This certificate will be valid for 2years from the date of issue and has to be updated later on to a Intermediary Assistant Instructor Certificate.With this certificate one is allowed to assist the Intermediary Assistant Instructor Certificate(Senior Instructors) or Maha-Kalari Gurukkal(Grand-Master) in training the students in Bali Kalari, and this certificate is not valid for teaching students else where outside Bali kalari.
Intermediary Assistant Instructor Certificate INR: 5000 Course Code: CERT-INTER-22

After attaining of the Preliminary Assistant Instructor Certificate, for those who attend the next 2years of weapon training( or a 'Fast-track Short-term Course' of 1 month duration with Advanced steps and two weapon training on Single-knife and Sword or Axe for Rs.21,000) will be granted the Intermediary Assistant Instructor Certificate.This certificate will be valid for 2years from the Date-of-issue and has to be updated later on to a 'Kalari Gurukkal certificate'. With this certificate one is allowed to assist the Maha-Kalari Gurukkal in training the students at H.O of Bali Kalari, and this certificate is not valid for teaching students else where outside Bali kalari branch.
Kalari Gurukkal Certificate INR: 10,000 Course Code: CERT-KG-23

After attaining of the Intermediary Assistant Instructor Certificate, for those who attend the next 3years training of Verumkai (Empty-hand) against almost all weapons, Marma-sastra, Marma-chikitsa (body massage & Ayurvedic treatments) for Rs.1.5 lakhs, shall be granted the 'Kalari Gurukkal Certificate'. This certificate also can be attained both through a 'Fast-track Short-term Course' as well in 2 or 3 months.
Advantages of Certification: Those who successfully complete the duration and pass the 'physical Tests' & 'written tests' can start a branch of ours and teach or promote the kalaripayat Martial-art INDEPENDANTLY anywhere in the world, in our legal Register No, NYK affiliation, and Association support,etc. Such candidates shall be provided the Study materials like (Autobiography book,booklets on Locks) for issue to students, with belt or Katch, and uniforms(T-shirts and lower) shall be provided. The Grand-Master shall visit on occasion of belt-grading and Test of students in the Branches. For this concerned prices per books and uniforms must be met by the Branch incharge.
Note: For issue of Certificates,as a Gurukkal, a student must preferably enroll for the body,stick, weapon training courses plus, Marma-sastra & Marma-chikitsa. For Fast-track students a capsule form of the body,stick,weapon with more focus on Marma and chikitsa will be given. To start teaching classes you need to make total fees payment for the above stated courses . Also before issue of certificates, the students must sign a legal agreement, with some of the stated details, to maintain a better Guru-disciple relation on a long term basis. All physical & Theoritical Test & awarding of Certificates shall be made to students of all branches in my presence and marks to students shall be awarded in consultation with the Branch In-charge Instructor. You need to undergo the Practical Test at our center for 3 continuous days to prove your physical ability,stick technique, Weapon techniques,etc to become a Gurukkal. Also you need to develop by yourself or contribute any 5 new techniques of your own, not known to me. You will be given aid or guidance, on how to do the research on new findings. Compulsory for all students who has to attain a Gurukkal certtificate.
